OKAA Upcoming Events
The Oklahoma Acupuncture Association is a non-profit organization whose goal is to educate and inform its members and the public on the practice, art, and benefits of Oriental Medicine, specifically, but not solely acupuncture. The association invites healthcare professionals who practice acupuncture within the state of Oklahoma, as well as lay people interested in learning more about this ancient form of healing, to attend one of our meetings.
Meetings are held quarterly
The next meeting of the OKAA will be held at Territory Cellars Winery located between Tulsa and Oklahoma City on I-44, Sunday, September 14th, 2008 from noon to 3 pm. It should be about 45 minutes from Tulsa and Oklahoma City.
There will be no continuing education at the meeting but Amit agreed to sing a rendition of the Beatles “I want to Hold Your Hand” solo while holding a glass of wine in each hand and dancing across the room. Other performances will be welcomed.
There will be no pot luck as usual but rather, we will be served lunch from
the menu of the Winery. The cost for lunch is $15.00 per person plus a 20% gratuity which includes
the costs for the meeting space. Hope to see you there. Bring a friend!.
Please send any agenda items to Deborah Bright.
Membership dues have gone up to $30 for a professional and $15 for a student/friend and will be collected at the meeting.
